Department Night
 
             Every class has department night. Department night is when you make up work. Most classes have diffrent nights but the most common is Thursdays.

Here are after school activitys

Sports: boxing, flag football, cheerleading, softball, band, Chorus
 
 
Clubs:French,Social Studies, Drama

 
Helping out: Student council,... funraising, can goods,recycling 
Children that attend Gorton jr. High School are allowed to use  the librery after and befor school.

Detention

AT this school you do something bad DETENTION!!!

You can get detention in many ways but it goes on your RECORD...
